Meet the 8th Grade Teachers

Angela Fender (8th grade teacher)
Mrs. Fender has been at DSA for 6 years. She’s been teaching for 14 years total. Mrs. Fender studied at The University of Florida where she earned her BS. She’s originally from Polk County, Florida.
She teaches her students how to write and graph linear equations in slope-intercept form, standard form and point-slope form. Something her students should do at home is take a few minutes to review what they did in each subject each day. Also, extra practice is available at www.interactmath.com

Teresa Mosley (8th grade teacher)
Mrs. Mosley has been at DSA for 2 years but has been teaching for 3 years total. She has an accounting degree from UCF and teaching degree through PSC. She’s originally from Haines City, Florida. Mrs. Mosley teaches her students how to read and write about all sorts of marvelous things!! Something her students need to do at home is read, read, read!
