Read about Mrs. Behnke |
Mrs. Joyce Behnke teaches Studio Art in the Visual Arts department. She was born in Iowa; and raised in Illinois where she attended Augustana College - University of Illinois. She first taught in Indiana which is where she married Robert and they now have a son, John who’s 34 years old. One interesting fact about Mrs. Behnke is that she is descended from four generations of craftsmen. Her great-grandmother made quilts, rugs, and stuffed animals. Her grandmother painted china and her mother is a quilter. Mrs. Behnke loves teaching Studio Art, because she can share all of those art forms with her students. |
